What is PASS?
PASS stands for Pathway to Accelerated Student Success (PASS). It is a re-entry program that gets you back in school right away and provides you with all the support to succeed.
• With small-group instruction and online courses, credits are recovered more quickly.
• Open access to group or personal counseling.
• Classes are scheduled at convenient times if work or other responsibilities occur
during the school day.
• Guidance from committed adults and student leaders are provided to support your
graduation pathway.
PASS is an initiative designed to serve specific sets of credit deficient students in order to get them back on track and to ensure their successful high school graduation. PASS is committed to reducing dropout rates and increasing dropout re-entry retention rates by providing a comprehensive system of interventions. Funding for PASS is provided by a grant from the United States Department of Education (DOE). PASS began at Harper High School in February, 2011.
